Industries

We service a broad range of industries. Our competencies in each are described below with links to relevant case studies.

The Information Technology sector is central to most things that we cover at Reach. Whether we are managing a role within the mobility sector, supply chain and logistics sector or being mandated by a global consultancy, exposure to technology or technology trends is becoming increasingly important. Today’s employers are seeking executives that are cognizant of and skilled in relation to selling or developing and implementing sophisticated solutions with information technology at its core. Whether it is the implementation of a new WMS or managing a complex BPO or systems integration initiative, those executives able to master and deliver on promises made will continue to be in high demand.

We continue to monitor and take a keen interest in the development of emerging trends with respect to this vibrant sector. We note that mobile device diversity and associated management; the continued development and diversified use of mobile applications; cyber security, the internet of everything; big data, managed services, software defined networking and the increasing rise of smart machines and robotics to be on the radar of those executives managing Fortune 500 organizations.

Within the mobile telecommunications and electronics sectors we are well known for our concentrated activity with regards professional services, cyber security, supply chain services, network services, electronic manufacturing services and after market services. These specialist areas call for unique skills and specific experience with exposure to global and regional coverage highly sought. See our case study.

At Reach we continue to attract “rainmakers” to our exclusive panel of executives. These elite executives appreciate and respect the way we conduct our business, and for the way we carefully manage their career expectations. Typically we seek out those executives that enjoy a vocational blend with leadership and management experience and able to navigate the rocky pathway between sales and operations. These executives understand the true meaning of collaboration and for this reason on most occasions our clients are spoilt for choice with multiple hires taking place at greater frequency. See our case study.

Increasingly we are asked to deliver cross Asia Pacific - EMEA/ Americas solutions. More and more clients are interested in elevating the sophistication of their leadership, whilst adding to their internal knowledge bank. Executives with exposure to the AP region and EMEA/Americas are urged to make contact with us.

The professional services sector is a dynamic and highly competitive environment with consultancies and legal firms expected to provide critical and strategic advice pertaining to operational management and specialist legal advice. Management consultants often bring their own proprietary methodologies or frameworks to guide the identification of problems and to serve as the basis for recommendations for more effective or efficient ways of performing work tasks.

In such a dynamic setting the competition for the best available human capital is becoming increasingly intense. Particularly so the higher we move up the organizational ladder. Our experience tells us employers are seeking quick results therefore those consultants that bring powerful networks and alliances, and able to deliver profitable results are in really high demand.

We are able to call upon our vast experience when retained by a management consulting firm for we appreciate that significant cultural differences do exist across this competitive landscape. We are adept at matching the expectations of our clients with those of the executives that step into our vision. Equally so, we are exceptionally well qualified to secure the interest of high performing executives. In an industry that continuously strives to secure the best available talent our ability to influence career change is highly valued by our clients. See our case study.

A significant challenge faced by all legal firms is the development of a sales pipeline. From vast experience solicitors are typically challenged with regards  business development and strategic relationship building, therefore we have developed a unique coaching model that enables them to participate with great effectiveness and confidence.

Supply chain strategies require a total systems view of the links in the chain that work together efficiently to create customer satisfaction at the end point of delivery to the consumer. As a consequence, costs must be lowered throughout the chain by driving out unnecessary expenses, movements, and handling. The main focus is turned to efficiency and added value, or the end-user's perception of value. Efficiency must be increased, and bottlenecks removed. The measurement of performance focuses on total system efficiency and the equitable monetary reward distribution to those within the supply chain. The supply chain system must be responsive to customer requirements.

In challenging times, and in the face of growing complexity and risk, leading companies need sustainable, resilient supply chains that support profitability and drive industry leadership. This requires managers to re-evaluate the layout of their supply network designs to make them more resilient. It may also include designing products that allow more flexibility in supply and manufacturing, increasing long-term alternative sources of raw materials and logistics capabilities, and expanding outsourced manufacturing capacity. We find those organizations that successfully adapt to changing economic conditions tend to be the “first movers” and this includes the hunt for the best human capital that will deliver on the most critical organizational challenges.

We are very well positioned to assist clients that provide or manage strategic supply chain and logistics solutions for their end user clients, or for those organizations that manage these functions on an in-house basis. The more complex activity where successful outcomes are directly linked to your “bottom line” calls for special talent. Traditionally this talent is all too difficult to source, and this is where our unique methodology is tailored to deliver.

Our many success stories to date include the high technology, mobile telephony, electronics and semi-conductors, consumer goods, automotive, healthcare, aerospace and defence sectors with both forward and reverse logistics central to the needs of our global clients. See our case study.

Whether you seek to appoint regionally or globally we are experts in tailoring and delivering a unique solution that will ensure you secure and retain the finest talent.

Technology is reshaping the financial services sector. As consumer behaviors evolve, traditional players are facing new competitors in direct and mobile banking, in the payments market, with the emergence of digital alternatives affecting the influence that the traditional lenders have over their customer base.

The trend line points to further disruption in the sector forcing the incumbent institutions to become aggressive adopters of the best ideas of the start up ecosystem and bringing them to fruition.

Big data continues to be an issue of significant importance highlighted by the associated risks facing organizations when protecting its most valuable, sensitive data. As companies continue to roll out new electronic wireless payment systems, added risks are faced particularly as supporting technology becomes more sophisticated.

The following issues are being asked by a host of our clients:

How are consumer behaviors changing when it comes to transacting and interacting with organizations via mobile devices?

To what extent are companies investing in digital and mobile advertising?

What strategies and tactics are successful financial marketers using to reach increasingly connected consumers?

How can I meld a crypto strategy into our family's financial goal?

We act at the juncture of financial services and technology and apply ourselves in the following related markets. See our case study.

We are supporting the growth in the ESG sector in a number of ways. Assisting a legal firm with their own growth plans and in part by putting in place an educational platform for some of their key partners.

Secondly we provide the Family Office sector by managing their hiring plans and co-developing their knowledge management systems, so that they can provide up to date solutions for their high net worth clients.

We have assisted a carbon offset consultancy that sought to launch their business in Asia Pacific by conducting an extensive market mapping exercise for key talent. Seeking to grow their local team we identified a number of critical executives that perfectly matched their strategic business plans.

A career highlight in October saw our MD host an ESG Careers seminar  at Hong Kong University Business School, with their Masters students in attendance (see news section).
